Jean-Pierre Goy was born on the 30th of march 1961 at the FAMILY sawmill,
which later became the SETTING for his first two-wheeled exploits.
He lives at Chavanoz in the north of the Isere department with Christine, who he married in 1992.
The family circle widened, IN 1995, with the arrival of Melanie.
Jean-Pierre got his first motorbike when he was 16 years old. He started off with a Trial
BIKE and started competing in 1979. One year later he was contacted by the
Italian company FANTIC MOTOR. He subsequently specialised in Indoor Trial BIKING,
a discipline in which he won numerous international meetings.
He increasingly directed his energies towards SHOWS.
He has pioneered and perfected a hundred or so original and spectacular STUNTS.
His media promotion is largely catered for by french t.v shows such as « Incroyable,mais vrai » (Incredible but true) « Auto-moto » and « Ushuaia ».
He has continued to perfect and innovate new techniques and has several world records to his name such as crossing the arches of the 36m high bridge at Loyettes, distance records on the rear-wheel, the front wheel, up stairs…..(see adjoining press releases)
Worldwide demand for his shows means he travels to Japan , Brazil, Egypt, the Reunion islands, south America, as well as all over Europe.
In 1992 he created the company « Jean-pierre Goy Organisation » in partnership with his wife.
In april 1997 his years of hard and relentless work were rewarded when he was contacted by the director of the 18th James Bond film « Tomorrow never dies » in order to become Pierce Brosnan’s double. The resulting stunts are classed amongst the most spectacular that world cinema has ever seen.
Today he continues to work internationally and also works on cinema storyboards.
