Jean-Pierre Goy , one of the best known French stuntman, known for his daring motorcycle stunts (like the jump over a helicopter on a BMW R1200C motorcycle in the James Bond: Tomorrow Never Dies movie, has received the prestigious Taurus World Stunt Award for his incredible difficult work in Batman: Dark Knight.
In this Batman movie, Jean-Pierre Goy rides the BatPod (remember the motorcycle that detaches itself from the crashed BatMobile?). Other stuntmen had tried, but no one was able to ride this monster. The producers then called Goy in, and he managed to tame the beast. He did break two ribs when the dropped the 1000 pounds monster.
TheTaurus Award is not the only one Goy got for Batman. He also got the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) award for Best Stunt work.
The Taurus Awards (Taurus means bull) are organized by Red Bull... appropriate name for the award.

L'ami Christian était fidèle au rendez-vous de Villeneuve de Marc ce week-end, il a shooté dans tout les sens, je l'ai même retrouvé en haut d'une nacelle à 8 mètres de haut. Merci Christian pour toutes ces belles photos.
During the shooting of "The Wolfman" I found my friend Jordy Casarès (stunt coordinator) with whom I had worked in Bangkok on the Bond 18 "Tomorrow never dies". He lives in Madrid it is a big equestrian stuntman of a big kindness equal to its talent.
At the end of shooting (5 am) The director Mister Vic Armstrong made me great pleasure to dedicace my bike traveling.
I have just received a new Award in Hollywood: Taurus World Stunt Award for my stunts in Batman "The Dark Knight"
